Kahili Ginger Flower Fruit Rolls

INTRODUCTION

Wow, these all natural fruit rolls are amazing! Blending local apple bananas with fresh Kahili Ginger flowers and Kahili Ginger hydrosol creates a sweet fragrant experience that you and your whole family will love. You can also use this mixture in raw desserts, yogurt, anything – get creative!

INGREDIENTS

2 Tablespoons Kahili Ginger hydrosol

4 cups bananas

1 cup packed washed Kahili Ginger flowers

1 cup water

STEP 1

Place the hydrosol into your blender, then add the bananas and flowers. Blend on high, until smooth, adding water as needed.

STEP 2

Pour the mixture onto dehydrator sheets or parchment paper, using a rubber spatula to spread it as thinly as possible.

STEP 3

Dehydrate at 140°F for about 6 hours. Or, if you don’t have a dehydrator, park your car in the sun, roll up the windows, and set the mixture inside – you’ll have fruit roll-ups in no time!

STEP 4

Cut into rectangles and roll up. Store in an airtight container, out of heat and direct sunlight. Enjoy within a few months.
