Yup, I ate eyeballs and all. Another pan fried taape, with wild lettuce & wild amaranth greens, pōpolo berries, and wood sorrel flowers.
So, yesterday was tough food wise but joyful in so many ways. Over 100 people were at my son and his partners baby shower…the food was absolutely off the hook! It happened to also be my birthday, so I decided to make myself an epic treat I could eat all day. It was so disgusting I couldn’t even eat a bite and took over 18 hours of processing (not including foraging time)…but my friend showed up at the event and said she had a gift for me – to the absolute rescue with a cup of frozen raspberries she’d been harvesting a couple a day over this month. The timing 

A 3 egg breakfast (remember the feral chicken eggs are smaller) with Spanish needles greens, pōpolo berries, coconut oil, salt.
