INTRODUCTION

Mimosa’s with a wild twist! No need for a fancy champagne, but some kind of sparkling white wine on the dry side is nice since there’s sweetness from the orange juice and java plum syrup.

INGREDIENTS

java plum syrupchampagne or dry sparkling white wine

orange juice; fresh is best

butterfly ginger flower garnish

STEP 1

Fill champagne flute 1/3 with orange juice.

STEP 2

Add the bubbly.

STEP 3

Add 1-2 teaspoons of java plum syrup by slowly pouring on the side of the glass. If the glass is agitated or stirred you won’t get the layered contrast that is so pretty in this drink.

STEP 4

Garnish with a fresh butterfly ginger flower.
