Strawberry Guava Fruit Leather

INTRODUCTION

Fruit leather is a great non-refrigerated way to store this abundant fruit. A high fiber, high calorie, easy-to-make snack for kids and people on the go.

INGREDIENTS

10 apple bananas
4 cups Strawberry Guava fruit
1 pint of water

STEP 1

Peel bananas. Remove centers of Strawberry Guavas to avoid seeds.

STEP 2

Combine bananas and water in a blender. Blend until smooth.

STEP 3

Add Strawberry Guava and pulse, in order to keep some small chunks for color throughout.

STEP 4

Pour the mixture onto non-stick dehydrator sheets. Spread it as thinly and evenly as possible.

STEP 5

Dehydrate at 140° F (60° C) for 6-10 hours.

STEP 6

Gently remove fruit leather from sheets. Cut the leathers in half, roll it, and store it in an air-tight container at room temperature. Enjoy!
