INTRODUCTION
There’s a basic formula of 1 part honey to 1 part vinegar to make an oxymel. Once you make that solution you can add as many flowers, herbs or spices as you like. Use oxymels mixed into cocktails or mocktails, in salad dressings, glazes, or however you feel inspired!
INGREDIENTS
1 cup apple cider vinegar1 cup liquid honey
1.5 cup butterfly ginger flowers
STEP 1
Mix vinegar and honey together, shaking or stirring vigorously, until they have combined together in solution.
STEP 2
Place flowers into a container that has a non-metal lid, or place parchment paper between lid and container. Then, pour the vinegar and honey solution on top of flowers. If you have more liquid than flowers save it, the flowers will shrink in volume over the course of a day and you can top off your container with any remaining liquid.
