Dehydrated Java Plums

INTRODUCTION

Dried Java Plums are one of our favorite snacks!  Wonderful on their own, they’re also delicious added to recipes when seed is removed.

INGREDIENTS

Java Plums

STEP 1

Wash and dry the Java Plums.

STEP 2

Spread them in a single layer on the dehydrator trays.

STEP 3

Start the dehydrator. Put it on the setting for dried fruit. It’ll take 12 to 24 hours, depending on how well you dried your fruit after washing, the size of the fruits, and the amount being dried at one time.

STEP4

Remove from dehydrator when the plums are dried, like raisins. Keep them in an air-tight container. They’ll keep for several months. Discard immediately if you see signs of mold.
