New plant to be featured in the Savage Kitchen App New plant to be featured in the Savage Kitchen App...haole koa (Leucaena leucocephala)! Over 1 billion people around the planet have access to this abundance species, which is high in protein and beta-carotene, and who produces it’s edible seeds and leaves year-round. Snubbed by the colonizing Conquistadores, haole koa has an over 7000 year history of being eaten by the indigenous peoples of Central America (specifically the Mayans).

You will learn how to identify and then eat this plant safely, which has a mild toxin that needs to be removed before eating. If you’ve learned how to safely eat taro, ackee fruit arils, cassava, or potatoes, I believe you can learn how to safely eat haole koa.

Listed in the Top 100 Most Invasive Species on the planet, you will now be a solutionary eating your way towards better health for yourself and for the planet.

I wish the veils could be lifted enough for people I wish the veils could be lifted enough for people to live in “love & light” right now at this time in an embodied way. Until then #FuckTrump and #impeachment for this DEMON and removal of all 147 Republicans who fed the lies. White supremacists are our number one threat...#domesticterrorists - if you are having a hard time wading through who’s right and who’s wrong, no worries. It’s called the Nazi litmus test...if the people in your group are wearing tshirts with Nazi references, if people are applauding when a speaker is referring to things Hitler got right...you’re on the wrong side! We all have some of it wrong, so much is yet to be revealed, but do not be on the wrong side of this. Please contact the FBI (fbi.gov/tips) if you know anyone planning to attend an insurrection/protest/mob in the coming weeks with intent to harm. You will know when the line has been crossed, so please don’t let the moment pass or you will be complicit and your consciousness will never forget. We can heal, we can unite, but the head of this motherfucking demon must be brought into the light of #justice
