This past weekend I took a much needed camping trip to Molokai. We feasted on some wild foods, including these gargantuan False Kamani (Terminalia catappa). In my book Wild Food Plants of Hawai’i, I call them Beach Almond’s. You can purchase the book *here*.

Wow, those look delicious! I haven’t been to Hawai’i since I was younger, but I am definitely going to buy the book, as I am a big fan! Too bad I don’t live in Maui for a signed copy. 🙂 Thank you for all the wonderful things you are doing.
