Introducing a NEW color in our Medicinal Clothing Collection!
Our Medicinal Clothing Collection has been updated in our online boutique!
We have added a new color to the collection. This sunny yellow comes from Coyote Brush (Baccharis pilularis), a widely abundant shrub of southern Oregon and California. Considered a nuisance weed in many a California garden, this highly resinous plant was an absolute joy to make into dye. It has a delicious lemony smell while being cooked, and along with white sage and eucalyptus wood smoke, you will notice the fantastic smells when you open up one of our Medicinal Clothing items.
Interested in Medicinal Clothing? This is another modality in treating skin issues like eczema and psoriasis. Inflammation issues on the skin may experience relief with the repeated wearing of medicated cloth. We are encouraging people to connect with their local fiber guild to locate dye plants in their bioregion, which may also have some medicinal benefit for health issues. Take back your own health. Experiment with this thousands of year old technique called Ayurvastra, which has been practiced in India for millenia.
