Chanterelle Time

It’s been raining in southern California….FINALLY! That means mushrooms. Check out this chanterelle a friend harvested in Topanga. It was divine sauteed with chickweed and young sow thistle greens.

    I’m so jealous. Up here in Seattle we’ve been done with chanties since Nov. I’ve still got lots in the freezer, but a cream of chanterelle soup really depends on freshies. Great blog!
